NKT finishes Skagerrak repairs

After several months of intensive work, NKT and Statnett have now finished work on the Skagerrak 2 cable.

The high voltage Skagerrak 2 cable which runs between Kristiansand in Norway and Tjele in Denmark was damaged in late July. Since then, NKT and its newest vessel, NKT Victoria, have been working to get the cable back up. This work is now complete, says NKT.

NKT carried out the repairs while the subsequent deburial of the cable was done by Statnett's cable vessel Elektron.
