Volkswagen and Northvolt found European "battery union"

Swedish battery producer Northvolt appears poised for its major breakthrough. The company, supported by players such as Vattenfall, Vestas and Siemens, has founded a new consortium, the European Battery Union, along with Volkswagen, the German carmaker informs in a statement.
