Morrow Batteries and Haldor Topsøe are planning to produce 20 percent cheaper batteries and have signed a letter of intent to set up a pilot plant in Southern Norway in the pursuit of commercializing a new battery technology, the two companies write in a statement.
"We are pleased to partner up with a technology leader as Haldor Topsoe. This partnership forms the basis for the commercialization of new and leading-edge battery technology. Our ambition is to develop and produce the world's most cost-effective and sustainable batteries, and the collaboration with Haldor Topsøe is an important step in that direction," says Terje Andersen, chief executive of Morrow Batteries, in the press release.
