Novozymes appoints new CFO upon Lars Green's resignation
Novozymes bids farewell to chief financial officer Lars Green, who is leaving the company due to ”personal reasons”.
He looks to pursue a career far from the suite of executive offices, reads a company press statement.
Novozymes has appointed Rainer Lehman as his successor, and he will take up the reins no later than November 1.
He is brought in from German Sartorius where he has served for more than 20 years, the latest six as chief financial officer.
An extensive recruitment process eventually led to the ideal candidate who will serve as CFO for the merged Novozymes and Chr. Hansen.
”He will be a strong partner for me and for the organization as a whole, while we continue our integration plans with Chr. Hansen,” says Novozymes CEO Ester Baiget in the press release.
She describes running dialogs with the resigning CFO on his plans for the future.
“To ensure continuity and a smooth transition, and parallel to dialogs with Lars [Green -ed.] the board and myself began the search for a new chief financial officer. I’m happy that we have found the right candidate for the position, and that we have a firm transitional plan in place,” the statement reads.
Lars Green has been with Novozymes for the past four years, and he leaves the company no later than by the end of the year.
