New Logstor CEO wants expansion across the board

INTERVIEW: Although the main focus at Danish Logstor is booking a bottom line profit after many years of gloomy financial reports, the new CEO highlights that he is also open to acquisitions as new business areas.

Søren Eskildsen is headed to the airport on his very first day in his new position. Logstor is headquartered in the small Danish town Løgstør, but foreign locations – especially Poland – are so important for the company's production that the CEO is already on his way to Stettin after just one day of work.

Despite starting the job with an overseas flight, the former Danfoss CEO was not recruited to take the company on an exotic adventure. The past decade saw investments in Dubai, Russia and not least China, and all of this came at a cost.
