Cleantech firm Velux has promoted its former head of sales David Briggs to the top job. He will replace current CEO Jørgen Tang-Jensen who has served in the post for 17 years and will step down at the end of this year.

"Velux is a company with a very strong culture, and from the strategic position we see ourselves in, we have evaluated that David Briggs' competences and abilities in sales are what we need," says Søren Bjerre-Nielsen, Chairman of the board.
