One of the key witnesses for the Danish Attorney General's Office for fraud and financial crimes, colloquially known as the Fraud Squad, in the criminal case against Danish bunker company Monjasa will not testify in the appeal case at the Western High Court in Denmark, it was revealed at a court session Monday.

Siriam Iyer was VP and head of risk management at Malaysian palm oil company Pacific Inter-Link, and he led the internal investigation in the company, which in 2014 led to a police arrest against Monjasa and the company's two founders Jan Jacobsen and Anders Østergaard for systematic fraud related to bunker deliveries to two of Pacific Inter-Link's chartered vessels.
