New York sues five oil companies over climate change

Five major oil companies are facing a lawsuit for millions of US dollars from New York City for contributing to climate change.

New York City now aims to hold oil companies BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and Royal Dutch Shell responsible for their part in causing climate change, as the city is suing the five companies, reports Financial Times.
