Fluctuating revenue in Maersk's energy division

Maersk Drilling and Maersk Supply Service have both landed higher revenue in the first three months of 2018. However, Maersk Drilling's net income has decreased. Maersk's energy division's results have multiplied nearly tenfold after selling Maersk Oil.

Maerks's energy division had mixed results in the first quarter. Maersk Drilling and Maersk Supply service showed improved top lines, but Maersk Drilling's net income has declined.

Maersk can, however, celebrate that the sale of Maersk Oil has drastically improved the results of the so-called "discontinued operations", which include Maersk Oil, Drilling and Supply Service.
