Prosafe lands deal with Cosco for problem rigs
Accommodation rig company Prosafe has settled a large deal with Cosco's yard in Qidong, which provides some financial buffering for Prosafe and will halt repeated delays of hotel rig deliveries.
Prosafe and Cosco's offshore yard in Qidong have entered a deal which, according to a press release from the two companies, will create "lenders which will transform the company's fleet, market position and earnings potential."
