Norwegian oil and gas production could set new record in 2023

Oil and gas extraction will decline slightly in 2019 but in the proceeding year will increase so much that reaching the similar record level from 2004 appears possible, estimates the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.

Oil and gas production on the Norwegian continental shelf could reach levels approaching the former record year, 2004, informs the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) in a new prognosis.
