Woodmac sees China surpass Japan as top LNG importer

In a new report, Wood Mackenzie projects that Japan will be overtaken by China as the world's largest LNG importer by 2022.

China's LNG import is expected to grow by 37.5 percent in the coming years, landing at a total of 74.1 million tons per year (mmtpa), Wood Mackenzie projects in a new report.
