Nord Stream 2 AG sues EU Commission

The company behind the planned gas pipeline between Russia and Germany is taking the EU Commission to court in an attempt to annul the directive that places gas pipelines under EU jurisdiction.

The EU's gas directive, which basically places gas pipelines from third-party countries under the union's jurisdiction, is discriminatory and was only put in place to make things difficult for Nord Stream 2, says Nord Stream 2 AG.
