Petoro increases billion-dollar cheque to Norwegian state

Norwegian state-owned oil company Petoro paid the state NOK 59 billion (USD 5.9 billion) during the first half of the year, according to a statement by the company, which manages the state's oil and gas extraction efforts on the Norwegian shelf.
