Occidental finalizes Anadarko acquisition
Following a somewhat crazy process, to put it mildly, Occidental announces it has completed its acquisition of Anadarko in a USD 55 billion transaction.
The high-profile deal, in which Occidental suddenly burst in to outbid Chevron's already accepted offer for Anadarko, is now closed, Occidental Petroleum Corporation informs in a statement after Anadarko stakeholders approved the acquisition.
