Tullow discovery exceeds all expectations

Oil well Jethro-1 in Guyana's Orinduik field contains substantially more oil than expected, Tulow oil informs.

British seafarer and privateer Sir Walter Raleigh sought out Guyana in the late 16th century in his search for the golden city of El Dorado. As is known, neither Raleigh nor any other found found the mythical place – but perhaps they might have come upon something by searching for wealth in the underground.
