Total sacks fewer than feared in Denmark

Only one tenth of Total's roughly 200 personnel subject to dismissal in Western Denmark were fired, while 106 are leaving voluntarily, and 64 are being moved to other positions within the company.

Total has secured a little positive PR up to the reestablishment of the Tyra field in the Danish North Sea. The French oil major announces that the extensive staff down-scaling of around 200 workers announced this spring has turned out to be less painful than initially anticipated.
