Total raises dividends markedly

Monday, the French oil company's board decided to create dividend growth in the coming years and at the same time upgraded cash flow guidance.

The world's fourth-largest oil and gas company, French Total, is aiming to increase its dividends to shareholders by between 5 and 6 percent per annum for the next few years.
