Ecuador announces OPEC exit

One of the oil organization's smallest member states announces it will leave the cartel on Jan. 1, 2020.

Ecuador, one of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries' smallest member states, will exit the organization in January, as the country will try to boost its income from oil sales, Bloomberg News reports.
