Equinor's new field said to surpass Norway's greatest

Analysts say Equinor's Brazilian exploratory well could be the company's largest field to date with a volume potentially exceeding that of Johan Sverdrup.

Drilling rig West Tellus is currently drilling a new exploration well in the Santos Basin in Brazilian waters and shows a tentative volume estimate of approximately 3.4 billion barrels of extractable oil equivalent.
