Major oil merger gets final approval
Aker BP’s acquisition of Lundin Energy is now approved by relevant authorities.

The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has approved the big oil deal merging Aker BP and Lundin Energy. The country’s finance ministry has also rubber-stamped the agreement, Lundin informs in a Monday morning statement.
