Equinor postpones annual report on energy markets

The war in Ukraine and high energy prices have led the oil company to postpone its annual analysis of trends in the energy markets. The political decisions change almost daily, CEO states.

Energy Perspectives is the title of Equinor’s annual analysis report posted since 2011, in which the Norwegian oil company examines macroeconomics and energy markets to present analyses and scenarios for future energy needs.

It’s not always an easy task, a fact indicated by the 2020 report carrying the headline: ”A time of great uncertainty.” This was further underlined by the title of last year’s report: ”An uncertain future.” That this uncertainty hasn’t exactly diminished is further evidenced by this year’s report.
