Maersk Drilling secures contract extension for drill ship with Shell

Drilling vessel Maersk Voyager has secured deployment for an additional six months.

Oil company Shell has exercised a contract extension for drilling vessel Maersk Voyager, which is now set to carry out further drilling activities off the coast of Mexico for an additional six months, informs Maersk Drilling.

Valued at USD 77m, the extension goes into effect from April next year in continuation of the current contract, the drilling company reports Thursday morning.
