Wintershall, TotalEnergies invest big in new gas project

The two oil and gas companies join forces with Argentina’s Pan American Energy to develop a natural gas project, requiring total investment of USD 700m.

Wintershall Dea, TotalEnergies and Bueno Aires-based Pan American Energy have in partnership taken a final investment decision for natural gas project Fénix in Argentinean waters.

The partnership’s combined investment sums to around USD 700m, with maximum fuel extraction estimated to hit roughly 10 million cubic meters of gas daily.
