Nord Stream will be very difficult to repair, says professor

Though images of the damage sustained by the pipeline are of poor quality, an associate professor at AAU Energy says one thing is for sure – repairing it will require immense efforts.

Repairing damages to the Nord Stream pipeline at the bottom of the Baltic Sea will be difficult, according to a preliminary assessment from Simon Pedersen, associate professor at AAU Energy at Alborg University, who has examined images of the pipeline that were reported by Swedish newspaper Expressen on Tuesday.
