Even though many shipowners would like to avoid Russian fuel in their ship tanks, it might still turn out that way due to a legal loophole in the EU sanctions.

Russian oil could still end up in the fuel tanks of ships, aircrafts and cars in Europe, even though the European Union has launched an embargo on Russian petroleum to limit the country’s financing of its war in Ukraine.
