Former Maersk Group CEO joins the board of BP

Former Chief Executive of Maersk Group, Nils Smedegaard Andersen, who was fired from the Danish shipping conglomerate in June, will now join the board of oil company BP.

Maersk Group's former CEO, Nils Smedegaard Andersen, can now add another executive board position to his resume, which already boasts a board position at Unilever and even as Chair of Danish retailer Dansk Supermarked, writes BP in a press release in relation to the oil company's third quarter interim report.
