Oil majors rumored to have joined forces on Ekofisk
Conocophillips, Statoil, and Total plan to join forces in the efforts to develop the big promising oil and gas field Ekofisk in the Norwegian part of the North Sea, according to industry media Upstream, which reports that the three oil majors will combine fields Tor 2, Tommeliten Alpha, King Lear, and Julius and develop them in a joint venture.
