Statoil makes new gas discovery in the North Sea

Norwegian gas field Valemon holds more gas than expected. A new discovery could hold between 20-50 million barrels of oil equivalent.

Statoil, Petoro, Centrica, and Shell can now account for a little more gas in the books. The four companies have made a new gas discovery on their shared gas field Valemon – Valemon Vest.
