
Shortly before selling its oil and gas division, Dong Energy settled its perhaps largest outstanding issue in the division.
After years of problems and around a year after the Danish energy company, along with partner Bayerngas, decided to cancel the construction contract on the Hejre field in the North Sea, a settlement was made with a consortium, which never succeeded in installing the top part of the platform, allegedly because it was too heavy.
