Shell sells out of Norwegian gas pipeline

Shell will no longer be co-owner of a pipeline in Norway. It will also shrink its ownership share in a gas treatment plant.

Shell is divesting of assets from its Norwegian division. The oil giant has entered a deal to sell its share of the gas pipeline Polarled which runs from the gas field Aasta Hansteen in the Norwegian sea across the Arctic circle and down to a gas treatment in Nyhamna near Møre and Romsdal in western Norway.
