Vestas has received a 40 MW order from the US, not particularly notable in light of the fact that the average size of Vestas' announced US orders is 175 MW. The order concerns components, whereby a small part of a larger total order is made in advance in order to secure a tax discount, and it could ultimately add up to 400 MW – at least, if everything goes according to plan.
