Earth needs annual pandemic to achieve Paris commitments

For the rise in global temperature to stay under 1.5 degrees Celsius in accordance with the the Paris Climate Accord, emissions reductions equating to the cut caused by Covid-19 in 2020 will need to repeat each year until 2050. That won't happen, says DNV GL.
