
Khashayar Farmanbar, Sweden's recently appointed minister of energy, will not exclude the idea of new atomic power coming online in the country.
"We must ensure our existing electricity generation, both existing hydroelectric and nuclear power. It mustn't be phased out prematurely," says Farmanbar, who added that it's important to diversify power sources, reports Danish newspaper Berlingske.
