The EU Parliament is set make a decision today on how the union should try to temper high energy prices, but the Greens withdrew from talks in protest of the resolution, calling it ”useless.”

The European Parliament urges the EU Commission ”to analyze the need of putting in place additional measures to address the crisis, including temporary wholesale and import price caps,” write MEPs in a joint motion for a resolution up for vote in Strasbourg today.
