Ørsted on hydrogen market: Needs margin for errors

In Europe we tend to overthink things too much, and this impedes us from launching the first major projects that could get the wheels on the hydrogen market in motion, says Ørsted head of PtX.

”We are stuck in the stalls. We need to kick open the doors and start running,” exclaims Anders Christian Nordstrøm, chief operating officer at Ørsted P2X, the utility’s clean fuels division. Coincidentally, the Danish government is currently busy trying to implement the PtX agreement as well as negotiating the terms for the Danish hydrogen infrastructure.
