Denmark waits to take stand on Russian gas project

The Danish island of Bornholm could potentially enter a profitable business by getting involved with a Russian gas pipeline. Denmark's government is waiting for an application from Gazprom.

Sweden, citing "political security reasons",  has politely declined a request from Russian gas giant Gazprom that Swedish ports become the base for the major Russian gas pipeline Nord Stream 2.
