Denmark to create a state energy giant

Four of the country's largest energy companies will not be granted permission to buy the total Danish gas distribution, announced the government, which has decided to locate the distribution under one state company.

Future Danish consumers will have their gas distributed by a single state company, creating savings amounting to DKK 100 million according to the government, reports Danish media Finans.
