Brazilian president charged with accepting bribes
The Brazilian state prosecutor has formally charged President Michel Temer with bribery. Late Monday evening, a indictment was filed at Brazil's supreme court for a case in which the president has allegedly accepted bribes of half a million Brazilian real (EUR 135,000) in bribes from businessman Joesley Batista, report several media, including O Globo (Portuguese).
