Over recent months, many countries have confirmed by which year they plan to have phased out the sales of gasoline and diesel cars.
After the Dutch House of Representatives voted in favor of a decision to only allow sales of electric cars in the Netherlands from 2025 last year, this summer Norway announced that it would implement a similar bad on selling gasoline and diesel-driven vehicles, while the Indian government has expressed the intention of following suit. The latest declarations came from France and the UK, which have stated a target of quitting combustion engines by 2040.
