French energy plan positive for cleantech and insulation firms

The French government will invest EUR 20 billion in its green transition, and the funding will particularly go to energy efficiency retrofitting of buildings, while electric vehicles and building up the offshore wind industry are also part of the plan.

Over the next four years, France will invest heavily in transitioning the country's energy system. Of the EUR 50 billion in the government's newly released Grand Plan d'Investissement for the 2018-20122 period, presented by Prime Minister Édouard Philippe this Monday, EUR 20 billion will be spent on energy and climate initiatives in four categories.
