Denmark approves power cable worth almost EUR 1.5 billion

An electricity connection between Denmark and the UK, stretching 750 kilometers with 1,400 MW, has come closer to a final approval.

Denmark has green-lighted a viking invasion of the UK, but this is not as violent as it sounds. Electricity cable Viking Link of 400 kV has just been announced, and the 750-kilometer interconnector cable is planned to peacefully reach the British coast.

The cable has been officially approved by Denmark, announced the country's Ministry of Energy and grid operator Energinet.dk.
