Siemens Gamesa shuts down blade factory

The wind turbine manufacturer is launching a voluntary resignation program while announcing the dismissal of all employees at the blade factory. However, negotiations will now begin for a relocation.

Siemens Gamesa continues to adapt its business. The wind turbine manufacturer is also announcing the execution of a voluntary redundancy plan, which approximately 235 office and service employees have accepted. Furthermore, a collective dismissal procedure has been launched for all 133 employees at the Spanish blade factory near Miranda de Ebro in the region Burgos, announces the firm.
