German turbine producer secures first order in India

One of the new and smaller players on the Indian wind market, German Senvion, has secured a large chunk of the latest tender from the Goldman Sachs supported developer ReNew Power.

Senvion has secured a large order far from its head office in Hamburg. The German turbine manufacturer has been asked to deliver 44 turbines and 101.2 MW to the project Bhuwas in the Indian state Gujarat. The order comes from Indian developer ReNew Power, which Goldman Sachs supports financially, announces Senvion in a press release.
