Mitsubishi acquires stake in major wind farm

Wind turbine manufacturer MHI Vestas has already been named the preferred supplier for the 950 MW wind farm, and Mitsubishi is now joining the circle of owners.

Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation and Portugal's EDP Renewables announce that they have signed a deal for Mitsubishi to take over approximately one third of the 950 MW Moray East offshore wind farm, which is currently being developed off Moray in Scotland.
