Volvo Ocean Race struck by new accident: sailor lost at sea

Global yacht race Volvo Ocean Race, in which Vestas is a participant, has been struck by yet another serious accident. A crew member from a Hong Kong yacht fell overboard.

Volvo Ocean Race has experienced a gloomy year. In January, Vestas' boat collided with a Chinese fishing vessel approximately 50 kilometers from the finish line in the fourth leg of the race in Hong Kong, which cost one of 10 Chinese crew member's lives.
