Siemens Gamesa lands repowering contract for 362 Vestas turbines

The German/Spanish wind company has signed repowering deals for three US wind farms totaling 508 MW.

Siemens Gamesa will repower three wind farms in the US with total capacity of 308 MW.

The three farms are owned by Next Era Energy in US state Texas, where the two farms Mesa and Woodward boast 362 Vestas turbines with total capacity of 240 MW, and the last farm is equipped with 210 Bonus turbines with capacity of 268 MW.
