A major Vestas customer in the US gets green light for 1 GW in new wind

Another large order could be on its way to the Danish turbine manufacturer, after Xcel Energy secured approval for a 1.23 GW wind project from authorities in Texas.

US utility Xcel Energy, a major customer of Danish manufacturer Vestas, has secured a green light from authorities in Texas to install a further 1,230 MW wind capacity in the US.
