Facebook buys foreign electricity for major data center in Denmark
When Facebook fires up its data center in Odense, Denmark in two years, the power will be supplied by Norwegian turbines. In a press release, the US IT giant has entered a long-term PPA with Sweden's Vattenfall to receive 100 percent of production from three Norwegian wind projects with a total 294 MW capacity.
