Equinor to make oil rigs more green with power from floating offshore wind

Oil fields Gullfaks and Snorre in the northernmost North Sea may in the future be supplied with with electricity from a floating offshore wind farm. Norwegian oil major Equinor with its partners from Gullfaks and Snorre will begin a new project after completing surveys for potential new oil fields, writes Equinor in a press statement.
